How Savvy works

Observe. Predict.
Recommend. Act.

Most apps show you what happened. Savvy tells you what's coming. And acts.

01
Observe
Connects every account you own. N26. Revolut. Trade Republic. Sparkasse. One honest view across all of them. Internal transfers excluded so your income is never inflated.
"your real balance across 3 banks, right now, no double-counting."
02
Predict
Tells you where you're headed before you get there. End-of-month overspend flagged on day 18, not day 30. Budget pressure caught while you can still act on it.
"food spend is up 3 months straight. you'll miss your budget on Tuesday."
03
Recommend
Surfaces what you didn't know you needed. Subscription waste. Spending patterns. Better rates. The financial picture no bank will ever show you, because it's not in their interest to.
"your €2,340 earns 0%. Scalable Capital pays 3.50%. That's €82/year."
04
Act
Executes your plan the moment income lands. Savings funded. Investments allocated. Family send at the best rate. Payday sorted before you open the app.
"payday sorted. savings moved. family send at best rate. ✓"

What your bank knows.
What it never tells you.

Spend Intelligence
Knows you're overspending
before you do.

Most apps tell you what you spent last month. Savvy flags the problem on day 18, not day 30. By then you can still do something about it.

Tracks every category across all your accounts in real time
Alerts you at 80% of your budget, not 100% when it's too late
Tells you the exact day you'll hit your limit if nothing changes

Send money home.
Keep more of it.

Most finance apps pretend you only spend in one currency. Savvy compares five remittance providers side-by-side: live mid-market rate, real fees, real total received. You always send at the best rate.

Also: The Tab for tracking who owes you, invoicing for freelance income. Manage your entire financial life in one place.

Good questions

We knew you'd ask. Good.

Is Savvy free?+

Free during beta. No credit card, no catch. We'll always have a free tier. Savvy is built for people who need a real financial edge, not people who can already afford a wealth manager.

Can Savvy move or touch my money?+

Savvy reads your accounts to build your financial picture. It never touches your money without your say-so. Payment execution (like your payday plan running automatically) requires your explicit setup and consent first, and only ever moves money exactly the way you've configured it to. We never store or hold your funds.

Is Savvy safe?+

Your bank connection runs through Tink, a Visa company. The same open banking infrastructure powering Europe's largest financial institutions. Your bank credentials go directly to your bank. Savvy never sees them, never stores them. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest with AES-256.

Who can see my financial data?+

Only you. Savvy doesn't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to push financial products at you. We make money when Savvy is genuinely useful, not from your information. That's how the incentives stay aligned.

Is Savvy a bank?+

No. Savvy doesn't hold your money, issue cards, or offer credit. Think of us as the financial advisor your bank should have given you, but didn't. Your money stays exactly where it is. Savvy just makes sure it's working harder.

Which banks can I connect?+

3,500+ banks across Europe via Tink: N26, Revolut, Monzo, Deutsche Bank, DKB, Sparkasse, ING, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, bunq, Trade Republic and more. If your bank isn't listed, let us know and we'll add it.

Where is Savvy available?+

Currently across Europe: Germany, UK, France, Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Italy and more. iOS only during beta. Android is coming.

Founder · why Savvy exists
Germany has some of the most sophisticated financial infrastructure in the world. And yet, millions of people living here end the month not entirely sure where their money went.

Not because they're careless. Not because they don't earn enough. Because modern financial life doesn't fit inside one bank or one app anymore. Your salary lands in Sparkasse. Your investments live in Trade Republic. Your day-to-day spending runs through Revolut. Your savings sit somewhere else. Every app shows its own slice. None of them show you the full picture. And none of them act on your behalf.

I know this because I lived it.

I came to Berlin in 2020. The accounts multiplied almost immediately. A student account to start, a Revolut I topped up when things got tight, and a budget I kept in my head because a spreadsheet felt too confronting. The end of the month kept arriving faster than expected, with less left over than I'd planned, and no clear answer for where it had gone.

As I moved from student to professional, the income grew. The chaos followed. More banks, more obligations, more complexity. And through all of it, I was sending money home when the numbers worked out, never quite sure if I was managing or just surviving.

Every finance app I tried assumed one bank, one country, one simple life. None of them were built for this.

That line stayed with me. Because it isn't just my story. It's the story of millions of people living in Germany right now: people with real income and real ambitions who are still making financial decisions manually, reactively, and too often too late.

So I built Savvy. Not another budgeting app. Not another aggregator. An AI financial agent that understands your complete financial life across every account, every obligation, and every goal, and acts on your behalf before you even have to ask.

The accounts are already there. The income is already there. What's been missing is the intelligence to make it all work.
